I fell madly in love with the Dansko clogs years ago to the point that I only wanted to wear them no matter what. I like to look stylish, but I like to be comfortable more so I would more often than not wear them too much. But the clogs aren't good for everything- like formal or cocktail attire, hiking and outdoor activities, hot weather, etc. I've been trying to find a pair of sneakers that I can wear often and these fit the bill. they are super comfortable and fit my extra wide feet. My feet are wide due to a very large instep not actual width so they accommodated that perfectly. Some people complain about them not being wide enough and I believe that to be the factor at play here. If you have a high instep that interferes with you ability to fit regular shoes this is the way to go.Style-wise they are as they appear. Not liable to make Vogue but not really noticeable which suits me fine. One thing I wish there was more of and that is more arch support. One of the things in the clogs is the insanely wonderful arch support it provides. Not so with these shoes- I will have to add cookies to provide that level of support. That is the only reason I didn't give them all star recommendation. I urge Dansko to please put that into future shoes of this sort. People that like Dansko, largely like it for it's incredible arch support. Why not provide it in other shoes? I mean that is what you are known for... that is what you do. :)I could go into my closet and easily pull out a dozen or so pair of Dansko's so I think it would be fair to say when it comes to Dansko's I know what size I wear. Not only that, I usually buy my shoes (in general) a little on the larger size to begin with because I do not like the breaking in phase. I have to say I was really surprised at how snug they were. They were not uncomfortable, but really form-fitting. I have had them on (in my house) for about 20 minutes now and my toes as well as the bottom of my feet towards my toes are starting to tingle. I have a feeling I may have to send them back for a larger size. I'm going to give it a day or so and if no improvement- I will def. be returning themI have always had a hard time finding sneakers that feel good on my sensitive feet. Usually the top of the shoe comes too high and the tongue hits right at the bend of my ankle. One day in a high dollar department store I was looking at shoes on sale and the clerk suggested these. They were very expensive (about $175.00) and I almost did not try them on, but when I did, I had to have them because they were sooooo comfortable. They are getting old (still great but looking dirty) so I looked on Amazon to get a pair in a darker color, and was so pleased by the price on Amazon. The only problem was finding the right fit so I had to send the first pair back as they were a little too small. The ones from the store were 40 European and these on Amazon were in American sizes. I wear an 8 1/2 but bought a 9/10 size to get the 40 European size.Oh, I love this shoe! The Charcoal/Metallic color was a perfect match for my gray jeans. I loved the appearance of the shoe and when I slipped it on it felt like a dream! I have C-width foot and bought the W width. It was a perfect fit (snug but not tight) but no room to spare. If you actually have D-width foot, this might not work for you. I'm new to Danko and bought several sizes/styles. This was my favorite. But all of them slipped up/down on my heel no matter how tight the laces. I think Dansko sneakers are not best choice for me. I struggled with decision to keep or return, but for the price I must return. For the price, I simply won't "make do" with a shoe that could possibly rub blisters just because I love how it looks and fits. So Sad!I use them as a waitress. But not good past 4 to 5 hours. Your feet will kill after that. If your looking for a comfy shoe all day wear this isn’t it. However if your looking for a shoe five hours Max to wear while being up on your feet moving around this is it.I decided to leave a review here after 9 full months of (almost) daily use. I bought this shoes to use at work, where I sometimes needed to do 24h shifts. I needed something comfortable and breathable to use all day long. Tried the dansko clogs, but they would make my feet sweaty and after I twisted my ankle twice with them, I realized I needed something more stable. These shoes are great for daily use: they don’t get smelly easily, they are comfortable and look nice as a bonus! I started using them daily at work but, since they look cute, I can use them also for some casual getaways. I’ve never been happier with a shoe in my life, seriously!!!!I normally use a 8.5W, got the same in these shoes (which is marked as a 39) and this fits just right, almost like it hugs my feet in all the right places.In summary, I’ve used this shoes for work during hospital shifts, running errands, light trails and plane travels. After 9 months, they look just like new, don’t smell and are still my favorite. Recommended!Arrived early. I had a pair of this exact shoe a couple years ago and liked it so much I bought another. Price was less than my previous pair which is a plus.I was able to buy my first pair of this particular dansko tennis shoe 2 years ago. It was a size 38. I have loved them & worn them out. I could not find anywhere selling the size 38. But looked up 38 & it said 6 1/2I am very happy with them even though slightly less toe room.Need extra pair. Totally comfortable. Is my go to on difficult daysNot a good shoe for me
