It wasn't quite what I needed, but seemed like a well built shoe. As others have said, order a size larger than you normally wear. I wear a 12-12.5, ordered 13 and definitely could not have gone smaller. Nice cushion on the heal, and a lot of the weight ends up on the back part of arch. Unfortunately, I was hoping for something more like the old Skecher Shape Ups which cured my last bout of plantar facetious many years ago. The shoes came with 3 insoles, 2 with arch support, which all seemed good quality. I'd recommend giving them a shot.
