OK, I purchased this shoe in November of 2016 to only use on my office treadmill and have only used them on the treadmill. I also have a very accurate step counter and the mileage counter on the treadmill is mechanical, (one revolution of the belt = x amount of distance). So I'm in a position to know how many steps I took and how many miles I walked before I needed to purchase another walking shoe for my treadmill.Things to consider are, these shoes were never in the weather, they never hit concrete or walked over sticks, stones or small pieces of broken glass. Sometime in the past I had to put in an orthopedic insert but I had to put those in all of my footwear due old man syndrome.So here goes for what it's worth, total steps since November of 2016 are 10,813,410. Total miles are 4,050. I don't know about you but I'm Impressed. For those doing the math my stride length is dependent on speed.
